"warm" teacher, why not?

In the second workshop Bu Rurik from Kosayu 2 informed us about the material she got from workshop in UM somedays before. It was also interesting as she shared the strategies in managing the class. P Siswondho shared with us about his experiences how to be "warm" teacher.

The first meeting in this academic year!
We talked about the teaching preparation: mapping and program.
We also had Bu Rosida from SMP 1, giving information about SBI.
P Siswondho (SMP 1) informed us about everything he got from LPMP Lombok. He gave souvenirs for teachers who could answer the best answer.
We divided into 3 big groups. Grade 7, 8 and 9.
This meeting was wonderful. There were several newcomers, too.

In the first workshop, Bu Rosida informed us about SBI becuse her school was the first SBI in Malang.

In the second workshop, she shared her strategies in teaching Speaking. Very interesting!

Pak Kuncoro (SMP 16) led the teachers in Group Grade 9. Working on the second semester preparation. Welldone!

The first meeting was held in Science Lab in SMP 19

The second one was in English Lab in SMP 19.
We had 4 speakers in the second meeting.

What a day!
Our appreciation goes to very dedicated teachers. They really want to improve themselves.
Hopefully MGMP can meet their needs.

We had three honourable visitors in the three workshops.

P Fajar from SMP 3. He ia a teacher and also the chairman of ICT MGMP in Malang.

We were lucky to have him in our meeting.

P Djoko from UIN and his daughter, Vuzza, shares their experiences at schools in Australia. That was a good model of "realia" Everyone was happy with the activity.

Program: Teaching Material and Media
1. Modul for Students with H. Fachrurrazy, P.hd (Malang State University)
2. Teaching Media, how to make Power Point with P Fajar Imawan ( MGMP TI, Guru SMP 3)
Product: Make a media using PP

It was good, because 40 teachers from state and private junior high schools in Kota Malang attended the workshops. Including two fellow teachers from Wagir, Kabupaten Malang.
All the products should be handed to Ibu Rena (SMP 19) after Lebaran, October 14th 2008.
Bu Arie is a bit mean this time. You will never get the certificate if you don't collect your work.

Next serial workshops will be about Classroom Action Research, a collaboration work with UMM (Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang)- contact bu Arie or Bu Rena for further information

Also there will be workshops in Improving UAN in Malang with Diknas Kota Malang followed by 20 teachers. Annualy task!
